Fosfo K Extra

Chemical Composition % Analytical method
Phosphorus from phosphite ion (P2Os) 40,00% P/V Oxidation followed by AOAC 958,01
Potassium (K2O) 28,00% P/V AOAC 958,02
Conditioners and inert materials 32,00% P/V

Liquid source of potassium phosphite with high translocation capacity that provides the plant with energy and enables the development of natural self-defense mechanisms known as “phytoalexins,” in addition to rapidly assimilated potassium ions, which improve the crop's photosynthetic capacity. The action of phosphorus in the form of phosphite or phosphonate ions is an excellent strategy for disease prevention and control, mainly in the collar, trunk, and root.

The use of phosphites in pineapple cultivation is essential for strengthening the natural defense of
plants against disease. These compounds act as resistance inducers, stimulating the crop's defensive responses and improving its ability to fight pathogens. The use of Fosfo K Extra (special phosphite) promotes healthier growth and reduces the use of chemical fungicides. This strategy not only optimizes crop health, but also contributes to more sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural practices.

In pineapple cultivation

Recommended dose: Apply between 1 and 15 liters per hectare. Aim for an input of 2,500 ppm. Use an application volume of 2,000 to 3,000 liters per hectare.

Application cycles: Perform 5 to 10 application cycles per year, ensuring the necessary frequency to maintain the crop's resistance induction curve.
