Molybdenum is an essential nutrient in nitrogen metabolism, acting as an activator of nitrate reductase and playing a role in symbiotic nitrogen fixation. Its deficiency is similar to that of nitrogen, manifesting as chlorosis in mature leaves and associated with necrotic spots in cases of severe deficiency. Greenplants-Mo provides elemental molybdenum, which is readily available to plants, promoting iron absorption and translocation and contributing to the degradation of purines such as adenine and guanine as part of the xanthine dehydrogenase enzyme (Mendel and Muller, 1976; Pérez et al., 1998).
Recommended for use on the following crops: rice, corn, coffee, sugarcane,
potatoes, beans, tobacco, tomatoes, sweet peppers, watermelons, melons, cucumbers, grasses, citrus fruits, mangoes, cotton, bananas, chayotes, onions, carrots, cruciferous vegetables, cilantro, celery, lettuce, pineapple, papaya, soybeans, sorghum, ferns, roots, and tubers.
The interval and number of applications will depend on the conditions and requirements of the crop and the corresponding nitrogen applications. Apply 0.5-1 L/ha/400 liters of water.
