Potassium is an essential element in plant metabolism (photosynthesis, protein and carbohydrate synthesis). This element regulates osmotic pressure as a driver of cell turgidity, which gives it a significant impact on water balance and meristematic growth (nutrient mobility). Potassium is the most important element in vegetative growth, fruiting, ripening, and fruit quality.
