Greenplants Ca

Chemical Composition % Analytical method
Calcium (CaO) 18,00% P/V AOAC 945,04
Conditioners and inert materials 82,00% P/V

For the supply of calcium through soil application, there are various sources available, the most common being calcium nitrate and calcium sulfate, which are more economical than chelated sources due to their condition. For foliar calcium supply, a chelated source such as Greenplants Ca is ideal. The leaves of plants that require high levels of calcium during growth or that are exposed to higher levels of solar radiation contain a high proportion of “pectic” material in the form of “calcium pectate.” This substance gives the tissue high resistance to enzymatic degradation; the presence of high levels of calcium within the cell wall is crucial for the plant to resist fungal infection and prevent early fruit ripening.
